* Pétervárad, 1739 – † Pest, July 15, 1817 / physician, university professor ; ; He obtained his doctorate in medicine from the University of Vienna in 1768. In 1770–1777, he was a popular professor of physiology and pharmacology at the University of Nagyszombat and for many years was the dean of the medical faculty, and in 1774–1775 he was also the rector of the university. He published little, and at the University of Kraków, pharmacology was taught from the notes that were most likely compiled by his students from Nagyszombat based on his lectures. After the relocation of the University of Nagyszombat, he also taught in Buda and then in Pest, but from 1810 onwards his health deteriorated so much that this also had a strong impact on the quality of his lectures, which is why many students transferred to Vienna. Medical historiography only recognizes one of his books, which is his medical dissertation: Dissertatio inauguralis medica de vesicantibus (1768).
