* Banská Bystrica, c. 1750 – † Késmárk, 25 January 1820 / lyceum teacher, plant breeder ; ; He studied in Bratislava, later at the University of Jena. From 1776 until his death, he was a teacher and then rector of the Késmárk lyceum. He was a supporter of Josephinism and the Enlightenment, and played an important role in the modernization of the lyceum he led. In his will, he also left his valuable library and arable land to the institution.
