* September 4, 1950. Réte / writer, publicist, sailor ; ; He completed his elementary school in Réte and Szent, where he graduated. ; After graduating, he did not enter the maritime vocational institute, and continued his studies at the Slovak department of the Pedagogical College in Nitra, because he was not admitted to the Hungarian department. In the 4th semester, the system did not allow him to enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, and he did not continue his studies in Nitra, after his application to transfer to the Hungarian department was rejected. In 1970, he became a founding member of the progressive, original music band Bolygó Hollandi, with László Huszár. ; By 1988, he had obtained the highest Czechoslovak sports boating qualification. He later supplemented this with training and exams in Poland, which also enabled him to sail at sea. After the establishment of the Slovak state, he naturalized his qualification. He sailed in fresh and salt waters, but never in an industrial way. ; He had several occupations, and his life was decisively influenced by the fact that he could be a shift manager in a factory that also manufactured sailboats. He has been a freelancer since 1985. ; A frequent theme in his writings is the sea, sailing, and the desire for freedom. His fate was such that he could be a part of smaller and rougher waterways, but he did not become a sailor, but rather a wanderer. ; In 1985, he got into a conflict with the only Hungarian publisher at the time, which did not pay for two of his published volumes, only after court litigation was threatened. At that time, he vowed to find a way to privatize book publishing. ; After 1989, he participated in the creation of the first free elections as the president of the local VPN. ; In the field of book publishing, he published several books on sailing. He also published two books on circumnavigation (Varsányi, Méder), but he also edited multilingual editions. In the 1990s, he published the first Slovak novel in Hungary: Bernuľa Michal: Cursed Times – in Hungarian, Slovak. ; After the change of regime, he was the co-manager of a family business.
