* Rozsnyó, December 16, 1846 – † Budapest, May 16, 1916 / high school teacher, geographical and local history writer ; ; He graduated from the Evangelical high school in his hometown, and studied humanities and theology in Prešov. From 1871 to 1900, he taught natural science, Hungarian and German at the Evangelical high school in Rozsnyó (he also attended a further training course in Budapest in 1872–1874). Between 1876 and 1888, he also headed the Rozsnyó meteorological station established in 1855. He published his articles primarily in the Bulletin of the Rozsnyó Evangelical High School for Girls and in the Rozsnyói Hírado. In 1897, he made a trip to Italy, and published a series of articles about it. In 1891, he published a book titled Rozsnyó Climatic Spa.
