* Udvard, 18 January 1795 – † Buda, 14 August 1870 / chamber accountant, historian, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1858) ; ; He completed his high school studies in Nitra, Nagyszombat and Buda. He studied philosophy in Nagyszombat, and in 1813 he was admitted to the Order of Saint Benedict in Pannonhalma. In 1814 he was dismissed from the Order and was assigned to the Hungarian Royal Court Chamber, where he had the opportunity to deal more thoroughly with the past of the free royal cities and the collection of relevant certificates. His work as a historian is characterized by a conservative aulic approach. In 1838 he published the Buda Chronicle.
