* Jablonca, March 12, 1879 – † Budapest, August 20, 1958 / mining engineer, ironworks engineer ; ; He completed his higher education at the Selmecbánya Mining and Forestry Academy in 1904. He worked in the field of salt mining for five years, then moved to Nagybánya in 1910. During World War I, he was the head of the national Mining Inspectorate – he supervised the production of war-critical metals in 86 mines and smelters. After 1918, he was one of the ministerial directors of the relocation of the Selmecbánya Academy and the Körmöcbánya Mint. He initiated the expansion of bauxite research in Hungary, and in 1935–1936 he contributed to the development of the Komló coal mining and experimental coking plant. As the director of higher education in mining and metallurgy at the Ministry of Finance, he prepared the establishment of four new departments. He retired in 1936, but from 1950 he participated in the reorganization of mixed mineral mining.
