* Pereszlény, 1631. January 25. – † Bánya Beszterce, 1689. January 6. / Jesuit priest, ; linguist, teacher ; ; He entered the Jesuit order in 1650. In 1653 he was a teacher of Latin in Nagyszombat. He studied theology and philosophy there for seven years. From 1660 he worked as a religious teacher, preacher in Hungarian and Slovak, and for four years as a missionary. He also gave lectures on the Jewish language and the Old Testament. He wrote a grammatical work in Latin (Grammatica Linguae Ungaricae, Tyrnaviae, 1682), which was published in several editions after his death.
