Imre Peres

* Bestzer, January 2, 1953 – / Reformed theologian, historian of religion, university professor. ; ; Graduated from Bratislava in 1973. He received a diploma from the Comenius Faculty of Theology of Charles University in Prague (1978). ; Assistant pastor in 1978–1984, Padány and Bögellő in 1984–2003, pastor of the Reformed congregation in Bratislava from 2003. In 1996–2004, associate professor and head of the department at the János Kálvin Theological Academy in Komárom, from 2004, deputy dean and teacher of the Faculty of Theology of János Selye University, from 2007, professor at the Reformed University of Theology in Debrecen. In 1978–2003, he was the editor of the Kálvinista Szemle.
