* Illava, February 15, 1859 – † Budapest, June 15, 1942 / doctor of philosophy, college teacher ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Znióváralján, Trenčín and Nyírháza. In 1876 he studied philosophy at the University of Budapest. In 1880 he obtained a teaching certificate and in 1881 he became a doctor of philosophy. He taught in high schools in various cities: Debrecen, Galgóc, Timişoara, Bratislava and Trenčín. From 1897 he taught natural sciences and German as a regular teacher at the state secondary school in the 5th district of Budapest. In addition to his pedagogical work, he primarily dealt with the ethnic and economic relations of the Highlands. He published local history and pedagogical articles in the Highland newspapers of the time.
