Daniel Pazmany

* Csallóközaranyos, April 1, 1836 – † Szentes, February 1, 1916 / Reformed priest, chief archivist ; ; He began his secondary school studies in Bratislava, then finished them in Pápa and also completed his Reformed theology there. Between 1859 and 1865 he was rector in Balatonkenese, then after passing the ministerial exam he was a chaplain in Komárom for a year, after which he was transferred to Csilizradvány, where he served as a pastor for six years. In the meantime, in 1870 he went to Karlsruhe with a state scholarship, where he obtained a specialist teacher's certificate at the economic college. In 1872 he was elected secretary of the Nyitra County Economic Association and in this capacity he gave lectures and wrote articles on the intensive economic production applied in Western Europe. Later he chose the more lucrative state service and spent ten years as a notary in Nagyvárad and then one and a half years in Vágfarkasd. Between 1885 and 1914 he worked as the chief archivist of Csongrád County. ; He also contributed to the editing and writing of the publication Hungary Coat of Arms Book.
