* Zilah, February 2, 1857 – † Trenčín, July 14, 1932 / doctor, hiker ; ; He obtained his medical degree in Budapest in 1882, then worked as a mining doctor in the upper mountain mining region (including Selmecbánya), and was the chief physician of the National Penitentiary in Illava from 1889 to 1923. He made significant contributions to the fight against tuberculosis: he established a tuberculosis sanatorium in Trenčín County. He was one of the founders of the Hungarian Tourist Association, and organized shelters on Komló Hill and Kis-Kriván. His wife Ilona Pöschl was a mining engineer, Ede Pöschl (Selmecbánya), and the daughter of a professor from Selmec. One of his sons, Géza Pattantyús-Ábrahám (Selmecbánya), was a mechanical engineer and professor, and the other son, Imre Pattantyús-Ábrahám (Illava), was a smelting engineer and university professor.
