He obtained a degree in electrical engineering (1950). In 1950–1953, he was a scientific associate at the Telecommunications Research Institute, from 1959, an assistant professor at the Department of Wireless Communications of the Budapest University of Technology, from 1962, an associate professor, in 1963–1966, deputy head of the department and deputy dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and from 1966 until his death, head of the microwave department. His main research area is semiconductor circuits, and later pulse technology. He developed and taught the basic subject of pulse technology and organized the pulse technology laboratory.
