Its origin dates back to about 200 years. It only spread after the appearance of kapás plants (kapás plants appear later in marshy, swampy, and waterlogged areas - it spread mainly thanks to the spicy paprika grown in small gardens in Gúta, which in the past centuries mainly lived on animal husbandry). ; It came to present-day Hungary, Békés County, after the "population exchange" of 1945-1948, the Gúta farming families who settled in the motherland brought the recipe with them and made it known. Even today, in Gútán, it cannot be missing from the official diplomatic reception table next to the Csallóköz fruit pálinka. ; Homemade, regional sales - In Csallóköz, specifically in Gútán, the people who were evacuated from Gútán (1945-48) took it with them to Pitvaros, Mezőberény and their surroundings, where we can also find it.
