* Oszlop, August 13, 1740 – † Bratislava, March 23, 1798 / Jesuit teacher, agronomist, textbook writer ; ; He graduated from high school in Vienna, then in 1758 he entered the Jesuit order in Trenčín. After its abolition (1773) as a secular priest, he first taught philosophy in Nagyszombat, then from 1784 until his death he taught agriculture and natural science at the Bratislava Academy. His physics textbook went through three editions.
