Pál Németh coach, teacher ; ; Born in Bélvata on August 21, 1939, the eldest child of a tailor family with three children. ; Married, has three children, five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. ; He began his primary school education in 1946. He completed grades 1-5 in Illésháza and grades 6-8 in Nagymagyar. He graduated from the high school in Komárom. He spent the three most beautiful years of his life in this beautiful city. ; He continued his studies at the Bratislava Teacher Training College between 1957-59, graduating in chemistry-biology. After completing his school studies, he was sent to Nyárasd as a biology-chemistry teacher. From 1959-1961, he served in the military in Sumava. After his demobilization, he taught from 1961. In addition to teaching, he was active in sports and worked with young people as a coach. He introduced a previously unknown sport, handball, to this region, especially among girls. He continued his education in Bratislava and Prague, obtaining the fourth, third, and second class coaching qualifications. ; From 1976 to 1979, he obtained a first class coaching qualification at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the Comenius University in Bratislava. ; From 1981, he interrupted his teaching career and worked as a full-time professional handball coach at the Physical Education Association in Nyárasd, managing the adult women's team. ; ; His achievements in handball in Nyárasd: ; ; In 1968, he formed the schoolgirls' team, starting from scratch, and three years later in 1972, he won the Slovak and Czechoslovak championships with the youth team. At that time, he was elected coach of the Slovak youth national team. ; In 1972, the women's team was founded in Nyárasd. Starting from the lowest division, he promoted the team to the Slovak league in three years, and then in 1979 they were also included in the highest level championship of Czechoslovakia, the I. league. ; In 1978, as the coach of the Nyárasd women's team, which was in the second division, he won the Czechoslovak Cup, and then the team he managed also played in the European Cup. He won the national championship title with the Partizánske team in the 1984/1985 season. ; On September 20, 1981, the sports hall was built in Nyárasd. His team played handball in front of 1,200 spectators, achieving overwhelming success and providing a sporting experience for the spectators, which was one of his main goals. ; He managed the Nyárasd women's team as a coach for 20 years, his students scored 38,372 goals in 1,814 matches. ; 24 of his players played for the Slovak national team, which competed against 124 women's teams in Europe. ; He also worked as a coach in Csallóközaranyos and Dunaszerdahely. ; In addition to handball, he also worked as a coach in football, both for youth and adult teams. ; Nothing better proves his love of sports than the fact that he played competitive table tennis, basketball and actively played football for seventeen years. ; He started his long, bumpy journey through life alone, but during his teaching and coaching career he made many children and adults fall in love with sports. ; He gained fame for the village, where he worked for many years, with his achievements in handball. In recognition of his work, he earned the title of honorary citizen of the village of Nyárasd.
