Dezso Nitra

* Iske, March 8, 1905 – † Bratislava, June 11, 1979 / Reformed priest, local historian, ethnographer ; ; He completed high school in Prešov and Reformed theology in Sárospatak. He was a Reformed pastor in Tusán, Magyarbőd, and then in Dunaradvány. In the 1930s, he published in Reformed journals from the Highlands (Reformatús egyház és Iskola, Reformatús Sion). From the 1960s onwards, his works on ethnography and local history were published primarily in the Literary Review and the Ethnographical Bulletin: Watermills of Dunaradvány, 1970, Our Mothers' Work in the Production of Clothing, 1975, Old and New Wedding Customs on Dunaradvány, 1976, Additions to the History and Ethnography of the Natives of Magyarbőd, 1978.
