Baron Albert Nyáry

* Fülek, June 2, 1871 – † Budapest, September 6, 1933 / painter, historian, archaeologist ; ; Son of Jenő Nyáry (Hontbagonya). He studied law at the University of Budapest, then studied painting, mainly depicting landscapes, events and characters of folk life, and several collective exhibitions were held of his works. Influenced by his father, he was also interested in ancient Hungarian history, and organized and led archaeological excavations at his own expense.
