He worked in minority public education in the Upper Hungary for a long time, as the Komárom district secretary of the Csemadok. He has been publishing regularly for four decades, primarily in the Hungarian media in the Upper Hungary. In recent years, his visual arts journalism, poems, and short stories have appeared mainly in the Ateliér and Széljárás magazines. From the change of regime until 2006 – with the exception of four years – he was a member of the Naszvad local government, and he made significant contributions to maintaining contact between his native village and the Naszvad residents who were resettled in Hungary, as well as the settlements that once hosted them. He is the founding director of the Naszvad Tűzvirág International Enamel Art Festival and the Naszvad Free School of Fine Arts. We have also encountered his photographic creative activity at several solo exhibitions, in 2002 in Rém, in 2006 in Felsőszentiván, in 2010 in Esztergom and Komárom, and in 2012 in Baja, and he has also participated in several group exhibitions with his pictures in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
