* Zólyombrézó, February 16, 1893 – † Budapest, April 7, 1982 / biologist, journalist ; ; He completed his secondary schooling in Selmecbánya, then studied at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Budapest. His reviews of agricultural and horticultural plants began to appear as early as 1913, and he resumed publishing them after returning from his Siberian captivity. From the 1930s onwards, he published numerous articles on this subject, mainly in the National Newspaper, and after 1945 in the Magyar Nemzet, Élet és Tudomány, etc., which he published in three volumes. These discuss the botanical, nomenclatural, horticultural, medicinal, cultural history, etc. aspects of plants.
