After the establishment of the Csemadok Nagymegyer Organization, the most active cultural group was the theater group. They mainly presented musical plays in the 1950s and 1960s. These included Szabad szél (1956), Nem vagyunk angyalok, and Countess Marica. The last successful performance of this era was "Bástya sétány 77" directed by Ernő Luka. The photo taken in 1959 shows one of the scenes from this performance and the male lead, Lajos Vízváry.
