In Nagymegyer, the Arany János Scout Troop No. 708 was founded on April 30, 1933, after several years of preparation. Its members consisted of young people from three denominations: Catholic, Reformed and Jewish. At the time of its establishment, the scout troop had 36 members, and its first commander was teacher Vince Botló. After its establishment, the troop became a member of the Hungarian Subdivision of the Czechoslovak Scout Association. ; On the left of the picture is Scout Commander Vince Botló.
