* 1918.8.6., Pozsony Ligetfalu † 1987., Réte / football referee, football team organizer ; ; In 1952, the Golden Team won gold at the Olympics. At that time, people did not yet have television sets, newspapers and radios, from which people could learn about world events. Sports fans saved their last penny and bought radios. It was certainly not cheap entertainment, but the fans did not regret their money. They bought radios so that they could be with the Golden Team on the field in spirit. And this fan phenomenon led us to István Müller in Rétere, our resident. ; Who was he? ; A sportsman, a child born into football, football player, referee and then coach. The driving force behind his work was his love for sport. Intelligent, a good organizer, hardworking both at work and in the scout team. He was an actor, singer organizer in the local organization of the Csemadok and was also at home in the film industry. ; He was born on 6.8.1918 in Ligetfalu, Pozsony. He started kicking the ball there as a right striker. As a dedicated Fradi fan, he always taught his friend Dóka Karcsi of Vasas. His profession was a barber, but he worked at the Koliba film studio in Pozsony. He understood projection, scenery, and costumes, which knowledge and its results he gladly presented to the village audience. ; He got married on 20.2.1950 and moved to Rétére. His health deteriorated, so he stopped playing football in 1953. Ferenc Kiss and István Gyurcsi (Bodola), the best football players in the village, could not lure him back as a player, but he did not hang up his football boots, but continued as a referee. ; He also liked to fool around, which is why he was often despised, but he never joked about Hungarian sport, and he never backed down from it, and he remained a fan of the Hungarian team until his death. ; On 4 July 1954, István Müller's family and fan friends listened excitedly, almost empathizing with the situation, silently following the events with their beloved daughter Manyi in their arms. The Hungarian Golden Team defeated Uruguay and were in the final. György Szepesi, everyone's uncle Gyuri, brought the Hungarian team, which had been declared a favorite, closer to the listener via radio, and the listener closer to the sidelines. Everyone experienced it as if they were part of the events taking place on the field. When the 3:2 defeat happened, István Müller threw his beloved radio to the ground because he could no longer control his nervous state. This is how his beloved children remembered it. "Dad, our father, was mentally broken. He went into the room next to the radio room, sat down, and sat there for half an hour, looking straight ahead. He didn't scold anyone, he didn't complain about anything, he just did his job silently. ; You have to know how to lose! He was a true sportsman. A fan from the soles of his feet to his heart. He gave up his job as a referee, but he didn't give up on his dreams. His time came in 1964. Mouth and nail disease spread in our village and its surroundings. Our residents were not allowed to leave our village. Idleness reigned. In order to do something useful, the sports fans designed a changing room for the new sports field, for which they obtained the bricks from the demolition of the old Baroque bridge. That's when the Müller team was born. The first student team in our village. They started their training on the Angyalföld field, which is part of our village. Disciplined As a sportsman, he easily charmed the clever children who loved football. He paid attention to everything, even checking the inspection booklets, so that football would not be at the expense of the school results of the naughty children. Anyone who got a bad grade at school did not dare to appear on the field. Despite this, he was loved and respected very much. ; In those days, it was not possible to get football uniforms for the children. His wife and Aunt Juszti Huszár sewed the equipment. White jersey, red pants and white stucni, i.e. shin guards. ; In 1965, they were already playing in the district competition, with good results. In 1968, they played in the final and won against Taksony 2:1. ; This student team became a very good youth team. After the two-year military service, not everyone continued to play football. The other team was always among the first in the second division of the district. The Müller team's career lasted until 1980. Three of the team members played for a few more years, then grew old and stopped their sports careers. ; As a great believer, István Müller asked his friend, the Catholic deacon Gyula Koller, to give him the last rites on his sickbed. He stopped playing football and playing on the field in 1987. At his funeral, Lajos Bácsai, the head of the sports organization, said goodbye to him. His players took him on his last journey, and his favorite musicians, the gypsy band of Dezső Sipos (Pisi), accompanied the blesser and creator of the Aranycsapat team in Réte. ; ; The Müller team ; Our first student team, the Müller team, was formed in 1965. Its coach and founder was István Müller. As a child, he was active as a scout in Bratislava, and then fell in love with football. As a player started, but as a sports lover he graduated from the judges' school and continued his career as a judge. He got married, and that's how he ended up in Rétére. ; As a disciplined sportsman, he easily charmed the clever children who loved football. He paid attention to everything, even checking the inspectors so that football would not be at the expense of the naughty children. ; There were two student classes in the district, the eastern and western groups. ; The teams of the eastern group: Réte, Szenckirályfa, Hegysúr, Nagyfödémes, Nagygurab, Pusztafödémes, Diószeg, Nagymácséd, Ábrahám, Egyházfa, ; The teams of the western group: Galánta, Taksony, Felsőszeli (?) Hosszúfalu, Zsigárd, Sintava, Sopornya, Pata, Tósnyárasd, Vága. ; The players of our team: ; Zoltán Szalay (Feki) - goalkeeper, József Uhrovics (Bundi) - ballback, Lajos Pósa - centerback, Bálint Nógely (Öcsi) - right-back, Hochman Peter - halfback, Hochman Pál - halfback, Huszár János (Funesz) - halfback, Urbanovics Sándor (Sanyika) - striker, Molnár Zoltán (Lisztös) - striker, Kiss István (Uborka) - striker. ; Other players: Horváth Tibor, Szalay Dezső ; It didn't take long, in 1966 they were already in the district final in Galánta. They played the semi-final with Sopornya and won 4:2. Goal scorers: Hochman Pali scored 2 goals, Huszár Jani scored 1 and Molnár Zoli scored 1. The final match was played with Taksony. Taksony: Réte was 2:1. Our goal scorer was Kiss Pityu. ; This student team then became our very good youth team. After the youth team, the two-year mandatory military service followed. Not everyone in the A team continued. The team was further expanded with the following players: István Macsicza (Hőgöli), Lajos Macsicza (Kosza), Mihály Bacsinszky, István Bulavcsiak, Tibor Szalay (Ibrik), István Gyorgyay (Szíti), Zoltán Kamenár (Ödön), József Horváth, Ludo Hochman, János Piroska. ; From this large team comes one of our first league players: Zoltán Molnár.
