Laszlo Molnar

* Érsekújvár, November 29, 1921 – † Bratislava, October 6, 2005 / research chemist, hunting writer ; ; Graduated from Érsekújvár (1940), completed his chemical engineering studies in Budapest (1944). In 1944–1945, he was an engineer at the Nagysurány sugar factory, and in 1946–1952, he was a research chemist at the Slovakofarma pharmaceutical factory in Galgóc. In 1953–1982, he worked at the Institute of Chemistry of the SZTA in Bratislava, then at the Institute for Experimental Drug Research, and was the director of the latter in 1970–1982. His research field is polarography and the application of electrochemical methods in drug analysis. He translated one of the fundamental works of the Nobel Prize-winning Czech chemist Jaroslav Heyrovský into Hungarian (Introduction to Practical Polarography, 1955). He has published numerous scientific publications. After his retirement, he published articles and books on hunting in Slovak and Hungarian. He was also a contributor to the Slovak-language Hunting Lexicon. He successfully worked to have the headquarters of the International Council for the Conservation of Wildlife (C. I.
