Bela Molnar

* Košice, 24 February 1892 – † Košice, after 1945 / physician, internist, medical historian ; ; obtained his medical degree from the Budapest Medical Faculty in 1914. From 1914 he was an intern at the Budapest Internal Medicine Clinic No. III, and was an assistant professor from 1921 to 1938. In the meantime, he served as a so-called national uprising doctor during World War I. In 1922 to 1938, he was a spa doctor and chief internist in Karlsbad during the summers. In 1938 to 1945, he was the chief physician of the Košice Hospital. At the beginning of his career, he dealt with diabetology, primarily with the internal medicine complications of diabetes, joint diseases and gout.
