* Bozók, 18 September 1757 – † Lapujtő, 24 May 1832 / poet, historian ; ; In 1790 he became the chief bailiff of Nógrád county, following in the footsteps of his father, Antal Mocsáry the Elder. In 1800 he was elected chief bailiff, and was also a magistrate of several counties. After the death of his wife in 1803, he retired from public life, settled on his father's estate in Lapujtő and devoted his time exclusively to writing and science. He was friends with the prominent writers of the time: András Fáy, Mihály Vitkovics and Ferenc Kazinczy. His main work is the History, geography and statistics of the noble county of Nógrád, 1826.
