Vága, 1980s ; The Santa Claus walk is a tradition that still lives on during the Advent season on the eve of St. Nicholas's Day (December 5th). ; 2-3 men dressed as Santa Claus, accompanied by a few "Krampus" (and of course the village's children) walk the streets and visit families with children. The children have to pray, only then do they receive a gift. ; Santa Claus's outfit: a long white dress, a cloak, a bishop's hat and a shepherd's staff. Their faces are covered so that they cannot be recognized, so they do not speak, they only gesture.
