* Felsőhutka, 17 May 1931 – † Bratislava, 1 July 2004 / Reformed bishop, church writer ; ; He received his ministerial degree in Prague and then pursued postgraduate studies in Basel. In 1988 he received his doctorate from the Comenius University in Bratislava. From 1954 he was a pastor in Rimaszombat, Érsekújvár, Vágfarkasd and Bratislava, among others. Between 1981 and 1996 he was the editor of the Calvinist Review. Between 1990 and 1996 he was the bishop of the Slovak Reformed Christian Church. Between 1990 and 1994 he was a member of parliament for the Political Movement for Unity. Since 1991, he has been the president of the Ecumenical Council of Churches in Czechoslovakia and the vice-president of the Hungarian Reformed World Federation. He played a significant role in the founding of the János Kálvin Reformed Theological Academy in Komárom, where he was the head of the Department of Systematic Theology. He has published in church journals and publications.
