* Lapásgyarmat, March 12, 1883 – † Budapest, February 18, 1962 / archivist, historian ; ; He completed his studies at the University of Budapest. He earned a teaching degree in 1909 and a doctorate in humanities in 1912. From 1912 he was a middle school teacher in Sarkadon, from April 1913 he was the chief archivist of the city of Selmecbánya, from 1918 he served in the National Archives in Budapest, from 1922 after the organization of the Collection University he was a draftsman and scientific sub-archivist. From 1934 he was an archivist, and from 1943–1949 he was the national chief archivist. He mainly dealt with issues of medieval Hungarian history. ; ; His main works: ; II.
