* Privigye, May 31, 1877 – †  Budapest, January 3, 1939 / lawyer, mining engineer, university professor, technical historian ; ; He completed his high school studies in Nyitra and Sopron. He obtained a law degree in Budapest (1901) and a mining engineering degree in Selmecbánya (1906). After working as a mining authority in Gölnicbánya and Zagreb, in 1911 he became the head of the mining law department at the Selmec College of Mining and Forestry Engineering. He moved to Sopron with the college, and was a university professor from 1934. In his writings published in the Mining and Metallurgical Journals and university publications, he dealt with the history of the mining cooperative institution, medieval mining regulations, and the founding of the Mining Academy. He translated Agricola (1494–1555) De re metallica c. work. ; ; His main works: ; The origin of the four hundred and thirty-year-old Hungarian mining cooperative institution and written records of its development ; Until 1854, 1925, ; The foundation of the first mining officer training institute in Hungary, 1935, ; The emergence of the Selmecbánya Mining Academy and its history up to 1846, 1936.
