* Nagylévárd, 22 June 1804 – † Bratislava, 4 February 1857 / Lutheran lyceum teacher, legal writer ; ; From 1816 he was a student of the Bratislava Evangelical Lyceum. In the meantime, from 1816 to 1818, he also studied at the Papal Ref. College, primarily to master the Hungarian language. Returning to Bratislava, he graduated from the lyceum in 1826. He worked as a tutor for two years, then studied philology at the University of Leipzig in 1828–1829. In 1830, he was a student at the University of Göttingen, then studied philological works at the Vienna Court Library. In 1832, he was a deputy teacher at the Bratislava Lyceum, and between 1833 and 1839, he was a teacher and rector of the Modor Gymnasium. From 1839 he taught again at the Bratislava Lyceum: he taught law and philosophy in Hungarian. He actively participated in discussions advocating for the reform of education, and published several articles on this subject. Together with Pál Lichner (Modor), he published the work entitled The Code of Laws of the City of Buda 1244-1421 in 1845. In 1853–1854 he edited the Bulletin of the Bratislava Evangelical College.
