* Bélvata, July 11, 1949 – / philosopher, historian of philosophy, university professor ; ; Graduated from high school in Bratislava in 1967, obtained a teaching certificate in philosophy and Hungarian at the Komenský University in Bratislava (1973). From 1973 to 1983, he was an assistant professor and assistant professor at the Comenius University. From 1983 to 1993, he was a scientific associate at the Institute of Philosophy of the SZTA. From 1993, he was an assistant professor, associate professor (1995), professor (2000), and head of the department from 1997 to 2003. From 2006, he was the head of the Institute of Nationalities and National Minorities of the Faculty of Central European Studies of the Konstantin Philosophical University in Nitra. Candidate of Philosophy (1982). His research interests include the history of Hungarian philosophy, the borderlands of philosophy and literature. He is a member of several professional societies.
