* Pozsonypyüspöki, June 18, 1952 – / chemical engineer, diplomat, university professor ; ; He completed his primary school studies in his native village between 1958 and 1967, and graduated from the Hungarian Gymnasium in Bratislava in 1970. He obtained a degree in chemical engineering from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the Technical University of Bratislava in 1975. He has been a lecturer at the faculty since 1975, an associate professor since 1994, and a professor since 2005. He became a candidate of chemical sciences (PhD) in 1983. His research field is the automation of chemical industry technology. His scientific publications are published in Slovak and foreign journals. He has participated in the automation of equipment in several Slovak chemical companies. He is also active in public life. He was a representative of Bratislava County in 2001–2005, Slovakia's ambassador to Sweden in 2006–2007, and a Slovak representative of the EU Parliament (MKP160) in 2009–2014.
