* Dobsina, January 8, 1865 – † Rimaszombat, March 18, 1921 / physician ; ; He was the son of mayor Sámuel Meskó. He completed his secondary school studies in Rozsnyó and Igló. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Budapest in 1890. Between 1892 and 1898 he was a practicing physician in Dobsina. In July 1898 he was appointed chief physician of Gömör-Kishon county and settled in Rimaszombat. He published several articles in the Medical Weekly. His best-known work is: A case of severe hysteria that occurred during pregnancy and healed after scarification of the portio (1898). In 1915 he published a secondary school textbook entitled Egészségstan.
