* Magyarszőgyén, March 4, 1835 – † Győr, May 25, 1883 / Benedictine teacher, archaeologist ; ; He entered the order in 1851. He studied theology in Pannonhalma. Between 1857 and 1862 he was a teacher in Pápa and then in Győr. In addition to his teaching work, he became involved in the archaeological work started by Flóris Rómer (Bratislava). He participated in the excavations around the city, organized the Benedictine museum, and collected guild relics. His articles on archaeology, literary history, local history, and natural science were published, primarily in connection with Győr and its surroundings.
