* Nemeskajal, 25 May 1929 – † Budapest, 13 August 1986 / chemical engineer, ; university professor ; ; He began his school studies in Galánta, continued at the Érsekújvár gymnasium, and after World War II he graduated from a gymnasium in Budapest. He began his university studies at the Veszprém University of Chemical Industry, then continued at the Budapest University of Technology, where he obtained his chemical engineering degree in 1954. Between 1954 and 1956 he was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Military Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology, and from there he transferred to the Department of General (and Analytical) Chemistry (1956–1969: assistant professor, 1969–1982: associate professor, from 1982 professor). He received his PhD (1967) and PhD degrees for his research in the field of structural analysis, thermoanalysis and functional group analysis of organic compounds. He summarized his results in 91 papers.
