* Jaszenica, March 24, 1787 – † Rožňov, February 22, 1839 / priest teacher, linguist ; ; He was a chaplain in Nagyrőc, then became a teacher at the seminary and gymnasium in Rožňov, where he taught natural sciences in addition to linguistics. He attempted to develop a universal alphabet and orthography valid for all languages of the world. He wrote a book about this entitled Alphabetum et ortographia universalis. Ex nature, et artis observationibus deducta ac elaborata, which was published in Rožňov in 1837.
