* Acsa, 1 January 1836 – † Léva, 1 October 1878 / theology teacher, botanist ; ; He began his studies at the Evangelical school in Aszód. Between 1849 and 1854 he was a student at the Evangelical Lyceum in Selmecbánya, then in 1855 he studied theology in Bratislava. Between 1855 and 1862 he taught in various parts of the country. From 1862 until his death he was an Evangelical pastor in Léva, and from 1871 he also taught religious education at the teacher training college that had opened at that time. In addition to his pastoral and teaching work, he primarily dealt with the natural conditions, fauna and flora of the Léva area. He reported on his observations in the yearbooks of the teacher training college. He was the first to describe the beetles of the Léva area – this compilation contains 308 species. In another paper, he described the vegetation of Léva.
