* Rozsnyó, 17 October 1728 – † Pest, 17 December 1772 / physician, specialist writer ; ; A scion of a prominent Lutheran noble family from Rozsnyó. He completed his schooling in his hometown, Dobsina, Levcsé, Győr and Bratislava. He studied medicine in Wittenberg, Halle and Erlangen, where he was ordained a doctor of medicine in 1756. After that, he made a European tour and then began practicing in Rozsnyó. Although he inherited a beautiful house in the city, he moved in 1758 and, having converted to the Catholic faith, worked in the hospital of the Merciful in Bratislava. Later, he became the family physician of Bishop Pál Forgách of Vác, and after his death, he was elected chief physician of Zemplén County. From 1768, he was first the chief physician of Szerém and then of Satu Mare County. He achieved great results in the field of public health and the prevention of epidemic diseases. He also dealt with the assessment and analysis of the effects of medicinal waters, and his study on the medicinal waters of the Vihnye spa was published in the monograph Gesundbrunnen der österreichische Monarchie (1777).
