* Rozsnyó, March 23, 1806 – † Rimaszombat, June 8, 1892 / doctor, professional writer ; ; He completed his secondary education in his hometown and in Bratislava. He studied medicine, obstetrics and surgery at the University of Vienna, while gaining experience in various hospitals in Western Europe. He was ordained a doctor of medicine in 1829 and practiced medicine in his hometown from 1830. In 1834 he was elected chief physician of Gömör-Kishon county, but he resigned from this position after the failure of the 1848/49 War of Independence. He worked as a physician at the Austrian military hospital in Rozsnyó, and from 1857 he was the family physician of Count Gyula Andrássy, and later the physician of the Duke of Coburg's Balogvár estate. In 1886 he became the president of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Society of Gömör County. He was one of the founders of the Rožső Society of Conversation.
