Bela Marczell

* Kisudvarnok, October 14, 1924 – † Dunaszerdahely, February 8, 2009 / ethnographic collector, museologist ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Bratislava and Dunaszerdahely, and graduated in Komárom, Hungary (1945). He obtained a Hungarian-history teaching diploma from Pázmány Péter University in Budapest (1950). He taught in secondary schools in Dunaszerdahely (1951–1960), and then until his retirement (1986) he was an ethnographic associate of the Csallóköz Museum, and was its director between 1960 and 1976. He created the museum's first permanent exhibition and also contributed to the furnishing of several Csallóköz country houses. He was one of the founders and then president of the Hungarian Ethnographic Society of Czechoslovakia (1969–1972).
