* Bratislava, February 28, 1850 – † Reichenhall, Austria, July 8, 1912 / historian, university professor, bibliographer ; ; He completed high school in Nagyszombat and Bratislava. He obtained his teaching certificate in Vienna in 1874. From 1875 he was a secondary school teacher in Arad, from 1881 in Budapest (he taught German, history and geography), then a private teacher at the University of Budapest, later an extraordinary teacher. He mainly dealt with universal history, and also carried out significant bibliographic activity. He wrote numerous textbooks and handbooks.
