* Vágújhely, October 1828 – † Budapest, February 5, 1912 / physician, balneologist ; ; He completed his medical studies in Pest and then in Vienna, and from 1855 he was a district physician in Veszprém County. From 1860 he was a spa doctor in Balatonfüred. He studied the medical significance of the Balaton thermal baths scientifically and wrote numerous publications about it. From 1865 to 1878 – as one of its founders – he was the editor of the Ungarische Medizinisch-Chirurgische Presse.
