* ? 1792–? after 1862 / doctor of medicine ; ; Little reliable information is known about his life. He worked in Bratislava between 1820 and 1824, where he treated more than 500 eye diseases. He also taught Hungarian and collected folk expressions. He was a practicing physician in Pápa from 1840 to 1843, and from 1843 in Pest. He worked in Kolozsvár from 1851 to 1858, and from 1858 back in Pest. Many of his works remain in manuscript.
