Ota Safranek, a well-known Czech playwright - originally named Ottó Paser - was born on February 18, 1911 in Prague. After graduating from high school, he entered the financial service. He wrote a whole series of popular plays. His first work was the short story "The Wedding Gift". Then his novel Comfortable Claudian was published. His other works: Barefoot Knights (novel), July Night, Those Who Did Not Receive Medals, Lieutenant Baker's Honor, Rosebud, Patriot (plays). ; A play performed by the Csemadok organization, after 1956.
