* Kuntapolca, June 16, 1949 – / cybernetics, university professor ; ; He completed his primary school education in Pécs (1964), and graduated from the Košice Industrial Vocational High School (1968). He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Košice Technical College (1973). Since 1973, he has been a lecturer at the Košice Technical College (later the University). He obtained the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in 1983, the title of associate professor in 1984, from 1993 he was a professor, from 1996 he was a deputy dean. In 1998–2000 and 2001–2003 he was a rector's advisor. He was a visiting professor at the Miskolc University of Technology and the Donát Bánki Technical College in Budapest (1996–1999), and since 2002 he has been a member of the World Association of Hungarian Professors and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His research interests include cybernetic system control, electrical engineering, robotics, complex automation, integrated production and energy systems, and the application of elements, methods and procedures of artificial intelligence in the modeling, diagnosis and design of complex systems. He is the author of more than 50 studies and scientific papers, and a participant and speaker at international conferences (Helsinki, Stockholm, Tokyo, etc.). His most important awards and distinctions include the Budapest University of Technology's commemorative medal (1997), the Miskolc University's gold medal (1999), the Košice University of Technology's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering's gold medal (2002), and the Košice University of Technology's gold medal (2002).
