Adolf Lukacs

* Felsőolsva, 16 May 1848 – † Budapest, 20 May 1924 / lawyer, university professor ; ; He studied law at the Prešov Law Academy. Between 1875 and 1894 he was a professor at the Law Academy in Pécs, between 1894 and 1919 he was a public full professor of criminal law at the University of Cluj-Napoca, dean of the law faculty on several occasions, and in 1916 and 1917 he was also the rector of the university. In 1920 the Romanian authorities expelled the Hungarian teachers of the University of Cluj-Napoca and the university itself moved to Szeged.
