* Nagyág, April 13, 1858 – † Budapest, May 31, 1937 / mining engineer, lawyer, ; academy teacher ; ; He completed his high school education in Gyulafehérvár, Győr and Selmecbánya, his engineering studies at the Selmecbánya Academy, and his law studies at the Oradea Law Academy in 1882. He entered the state service in 1880. From 1887 he was a teacher at the Selmecbánya Academy, and in 1894 he was appointed chief mining engineer while retaining his teaching position. In 1910 he was appointed mining advisor. From 1911 he served in the mining department of the Ministry of Finance. He produced a wide range of professional literature, most of his books were published in Selmecbánya. His dissertations were published in the Mining and Metallurgical Journals, Austrian and German journals. From 1894 until his death, with minor interruptions, he was the editor of the Mining and Metallurgical Journals. As a teacher, he also wrote mineralogy, geology and paleontology textbooks.
