* Felka, December 13, 1889 – † Warstein (German) December 18, 1958 / teacher, local historian, Tatra researcher ; ; He was a Spiš Saxon – Zipser – who primarily dealt with the cultural history of the Spiš region, school history, the past and chronology of the discovery of the Tatra, but also wrote books about outstanding personalities of the Spiš region, such as János Dercsényi (Szepesszombat) physician-winemaker, Dávid Frölich (Késmárk) or the distinguished botanists of the Spiš region. Between 1911 and 1944, he was a Latin and history teacher at the Kesmárk gymnasium, and from 1941 to 1944, he was also the director of the Kesmárk Institut für Heimatforschung.
