* Bratislava, 1868 ? – † Budapest, September 6, 1937 / gardener, professional writer ; ; He acquired practical horticultural knowledge in Hungary, theoretical knowledge at the Mödling Agricultural Institute and the Köstritz Horticultural School. In 1898, he worked at the Kolozsmonostor Agricultural Institute, then at the Békéscsaba and Karcag Agricultural Schools, and in 1901 at the Levoča Horticultural School. In 1921, he took over the management of the state-owned orchard in Budaörs, and in 1929 he was assigned to the Horticultural Institute. He retired in 1932.
