* Komárom, September 9, 1960 – / historian, archivist ; ; He completed his primary and secondary education in Košice (1979), and obtained an archivist diploma from the Comenius University in Bratislava (1985). Since 1987, he has been an employee of the Institute of History of the SZTA. He obtained his doctoral degree in 1989, and his candidate degree in history in 1996. His research field is early modern (16th–17th centuries) economic and urban history, everyday and family life, including the social situation of women and children. He also researches the history of Hungarian noble families (e.g. the Thurzók of Nagybiccs, the Nádasdiak, etc.). His studies are published in Slovak, Hungarian and international journals, and he is the co-author, editor and compiler of several books and monographs. He is the organizer and speaker of numerous international professional conferences.
